Turkish draughts

This version of checkers offers a distinctive twist on the game: pieces move and capture horizontally or vertically rather than diagonally. This unusual rule changes the opening arrangement as well. On a 64-square board, each player begins with 16 checkers spread across the second and third rows. Choose how you want to play: challenge the artificial intelligence, share a device for a local two-player match, or compete online in multiplayer games. If you’d rather watch, use spectator mode to follow other matches. You can also propose a move by placing it directly on the board for a player to consider.
